Resident Evil Video Games
Before the film franchise were the famous video game franchise known as Resident Evil, or Biohazard in Japan. There are a total of 7 original storyline games; Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil 7 as of January 24, 2017. The first one starts off with Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and Albert Wesker in an abandoned mansion filled zombies and the goal is to find a way out and escape safely through the zombies. The second game starts with Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield roaming through Raccoon City, already invested with zombies, and try to look for a way out of the city. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis finds Jill Valentine returning after the first game and goes back to Raccoon City to try and stop Umbrella, the corporation responsible for the outbreak, and also escape afterwards. Resident Evil 4 includes Leon S. Kennedy going to Spain to look for the President's daughter who has been kidnapped from The Umbrella Corporation. Resident Evil 5 finds Chris Redfield in search for his former partner, Jill Valentine, who was believed to be dead after the third game, and soon finds out she's still alive and is being controlled by Albert Wesker. In Resident Evil 6, the storyline is told from Chris Redfield's perspective as you to play as himself, Leon, Ada, Jake, and Sherry, whom all work together to stop the deadly virus outbreak. Then in Resident Evil 7, you play as Ethan Winters, a man in search for his wife Mia, who has been missing for three years in Louisiana, and goes to explore a mansion to find her. The Resident Evil video games are a blast to play if you want to feel terrified and scared!
