Conclusion of Evil

Conclusion. In the future, I will happily continue to play, watch, and keep up with the Resident Evil series franchise. In other happy news, Resident Evil 8 has been confirmed by Capcom due to not only the success of the other games but also Resident Evil 7. Unfortunately, the Resident Evil films have came to an ending with Resident Evil: The Final Chapter that came out earlier this year and was one of the best films I have ever seen this year so far. Though it was very melancholic with the ending when Alice finds out that she was a clone of herself the whole time and never the real her, therefore persuades her to still fight the zombies since the antidote will take a long time to kill every single virus in the whole world. Hopefully Resident Evil will go on forever and ever and ever! Thank you guys for reading and checking out my blogs and keeping up to date with everything you need to know about Resident Evil! Until next time, I'll check you guys out later! ;)

Resident Evil Video Game Spin-Offs

There are many spin-off games of Resident Evil, which many that are actually fun regardless of the critics. For starters, there is Resident Evil Code: Veronica (2000), which is about Claire Redfield trying to looking for her long lost brother in Raccoon City. Next, Resident Evil Zero (2002), which involves rookie officer Rebecca Chambers trying to escape from the deadly Raccoon City. Afterwards is Resident Evil Outbreak and Outbreak File#2 (2004), which is when a group of random civilians from Raccoon City trying to escape from the deadly zombies and find a way out of the city. Personally, these two were my favorite spin-offs. Then, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (2007), which is basically a remake about the previous games of it without the walk through. Last but not least, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles (2009), which is the same thing as Umbrella Chronicles except different scenario games on it. Lastly, Resident Evil Revelations and Revelations 2 (2015), which is the only game I have not played as of now, though I plan on trying both of them out as soon as I have the time.

Favorite and Least Favorite Resident Evil Video Game

Between killing bloody zombies to fighting gigantic bio-weapon monsters, all of the games conclude to a story full of facing your fears and fighting for your life. Out of all the Resident Evil video games, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) would be my favorite game for many reasons. One reason being because of the story line; Jill Valentine joins Carlos Olivera for a chance of escaping in the already infected Raccoon City. Another reason is because the infamous Nemesis, a bio-weapon experiment that can overpower almost anything around it, is present during the whole game. It's mission is to track down S.T.A.R.S. member Jill and terminate her. Even though I enjoyed the plot of Resident Evil 5, it is my least favorite Resident Evil game. My reasons are because of the playable characters and the scenario of the game. However, I still enjoy playing the video game from time to time.

Resident Evil Film Franchise

Image Found At: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ru7EL_dbqeo
Just like the video games, there are many Resident Evil film franchises. The first film was called Resident Evil (2002), which is basically surrounding the story of Alice, a former security at the Umbrella Corporation secret underground hive, who is trying to go against Umbrella and stop them from spreading the deadly virus from Raccoon City. In Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), Alice awakens to find out her mission on taking Umbrella Corporation down has failed. With the deadly virus already spread in Raccoon City, Alice is joined with Jill Valentine and other survivors to flea the dangerous city. In Resident Evil: Extinction, Alice is found hiding out in Nevada and soon runs into Claire Redfield and groups of survivors, who all work together to stay safe and find a safe way to Arcadia. In Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010), Alice and Claire are found in Arcadia, where it is no longer safe, and try to stop Wesker, who has taken control of Jill,  from destroying the rest of the world. In Resident Evil: Retribution, with Jill Valentine in full control of Umbrella, she must target Project Alice and kill her. Alice, Leon S. Kennedy, Ada Wong, and others must save Jill from Umbrella and defeat Umbrella once and for all. Finally, in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2017), Alice is presumably the only survivor and from the gang and works with Claire and others to go back to Raccoon City, where it all began, find Wesker, and put this all to a conclusion.

Resident Evil Video Games

Before the film franchise were the famous video game franchise known as Resident Evil, or Biohazard in Japan. There are a total of 7 original storyline games; Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil 7 as of January 24, 2017. The first one starts off with Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and Albert Wesker in an abandoned mansion filled zombies and the goal is to find a way out and escape safely through the zombies. The second game starts with Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield roaming through Raccoon City, already invested with zombies, and try to look for a way out of the city. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis finds Jill Valentine returning after the first game and goes back to Raccoon City to try and stop Umbrella, the corporation responsible for the outbreak, and also escape afterwards. Resident Evil Characters

Image Found At: http://fansterambo.deviantart.com/art/Resident-Evil-Characters-352188680
Of course there are main characters in every story of a game or film. In the Resident Evil film franchise. the main character is Alice, whom was created by Umbrella Corporation and is a clone of the Red Queen and is trying to save the world from mankind being wiped out. The Red Queen is a villainous, highly advanced and self-aware computer system that was created by Umbrella Corporation to track down Alice. In the Resident Evil video game series, there is Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, Barry Burton, and Albert Wesker, whom all work for S.T.A.R.S police, aka Special Tactics and Rescue Service and try to find their way out of a haunted mansion filled with zombies. Then there is Leon S. Kennedy, a rookie police officer, Claire Redfield, sister of Chris Redfield, Ada Wong, a spy, and Sherry, a lost girl, whom all work together to find her Claire's brother and get out of the city safely. Though they all serve a purpose in the film franchise, they play a more important role in the video game series.

Image result for resident evil films vs games
https://tomwhahappen.wordpress.com/2012/10/20/resident-evils-the-movies-the-games-and-how-they-dont-always-get-along/
If you enjoy something scary and mysterious, then Resident Evil would be the perfect entertainment for you. As far as the live-action films vs. the video games, watching them through the films would be more satisfactory if you would want to just watch it all happen, whereas if you would want to live it through your own way then you would play the video games. Resident Evil is mainly about a deadly virus that breaks out in a small fictional city named Raccoon City, and slowly but surely everybody starts to get infected by it and soon turn into the undead, aka zombies in both the video games and the films. Whenever people ask me what prefer, I always answer by responding to them that I personally really enjoy both of them respectively for their own individuality and differences. The main differences of the video games and films is that in the films, their is a character named Alice, whom is a clone and is the protagonist while in the video game franchise, she is not present. In the video games, you play as all sorts of various characters that all relate to the storyline.
